Gtools_Catalogo Script:

What it does :
Creates Renders for all files in a Directory.
it uses Vray as a render and has 3 presets. Overcast, Sunlight and Studio Lighting.
Script Information
Meshes
Directory: Click here to se the Meshes directory.
File Type: you have the option to open Max Files or import, 3ds, Dxf, Obj, Lp, Xfr, Fbx, Dwg files. if importing it will save a Max file in the same directory as the imported file.( i only tested the 3ds, but it should work fine with the other formats. if not please let me know)
Recursive: it will search recursively inside all folders from the one you choose initially.
List of Meshes: it will show all the objects to be render it. if you double click on an object it will be bring into the preview. but be careful with heavy polygon objects as it will be very slow.
Camera
General: Its for objects on the floor
Ceiling: its for objects on the ceiling
Wall: its for objects on walls.
note: what this changes is the plane, it´s moved to the floor, ceiling or rotated for the wall.
Preset:

Overcast: Overcast type Lighting
Sunny: Sunny Day type Lighting.
Studio: Studio type Lighting.
View:it lets you set the camera position and zoom.

the script try's to auto zoom to the geometry, most of the times works fine, the if there is some geometry very far or something similar it will take that also into account and try to fit it on the view.
use Original Center: the script will move the objects to the origin 0,0,0. if you uncheck this they will stay on the original location.
if you double click on the list on an object, it will be use in place of the teapot.
Render
Directory: click here if you want to set a different path for the render it images.
Same Path as Mesh: un checking this will render to the specified path above.
Gray Material: if checked it will apply a gray material to the complete object.
Display VFB: it will show the virtual frame buffer wile rendering.
File Type: choose the image format
Render width: Width of the render it image.
Render Height: Height of the render it image.
Lock: it will lock the aspect ratio of the image so you can increases or decrees the render size by just changing one.
Net Rendering Settings: the jobs are assigned to all servers by default.
Suspended: summit the job suspended.
Priority:the priority for the job.
Info: it will show some information on the amount of files, render time, etc.
Render: Summit to the network or render the files.
Net Render: if checked the renders will be submitted to the network.
Test: it will render a test render with low render settings and gray material.
